using intentional design rooted in your story to craft a brand that feels like home.

about Sayre Creative studio

I have wanted to be a stay-at-home mom for as long as I can remember.

Long before I had a son to come home to, I knew that was the life I wanted. I just didn't know yet how I would build it.

I went to school for strategic communications with a focus on graphic design, earned my degree, and spent a few years in the kind of office that has set hours and fluorescent lights and not much room to breathe. I loved the craft, but I didn't love the container. So I left.

And that’s when I started freelancing (graphic design, social media, brand work) contracting with a small agency and taking on clients of my own. The flexibility changed everything. For the first time, I was building a life I actually wanted to live, not just a career I was supposed to have.

Then I found out I was pregnant and something that had been quietly forming for years finally had a name.

My son was born in December of 2024. I went on maternity leave. And instead of counting down the days until I had to go back, I took the leap I had been circling for years and started this studio.

We live a simple, unhurried life in the country of Northeast Ohio on ten acres, wide skies, and a running list of things we want to grow and tend. A garden. Ducks. Chickens. A milk cow someday, when the time is right. My husband and I have been building this life together for five years, and our little boy who is now a year and a half and into absolutely everything is the reason this studio exists and the reason it's shaped the way it is.

I know what it means to build a business in the margins of a full life.

Not as a concept, but as a daily reality.

That's why every project I take on is paced with her whole life in mind and not just her deadlines. And why I'm drawn, above everything else, to the woman who is doing beautiful work inside a brand that doesn't reflect it yet.

Because I know she's been building something worth honoring and I want to help her show it.

the story behind

why i work the way i do

i don't rush, and that's the whole point.

every project begins with listening. not skimming a questionnaire, but actually listening to the story behind the business. to what a client is building toward. to the things they haven't quite found words for yet.

from there, every decision is intentional. from the mark, the palette, the typeface, the way a motif sits on a tag or a webpage, none of it is decorative. it's all doing something whether it’s carrying meaning or serving the story.

working with Sayre Creative Studio is unhurried and immersive. strategy grounds the work. story drives it. and the result is a brand that doesn't just look like you, it carries the weight.

ask me about all the animals I want to own

hi, I’m Sarah

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair smiling outdoors near a tree, wearing a denim jacket.

I’m the designer behind Sayre Creative Studio.

I love coffee, crocheting, gardening, baking sourdough bread, being outdoors, sunsets, the mountains, thrifting, and pretty much anything crafty. When I’m not working, you’ll find me giving my undivided attention to my toddler and my loving husband.

I’m very passionate about working with slow & soulful women who value intentional design. I love working with mom-owned, small boutique businesses, and anyone who feels aligned with my design style.

Now that you know a bit about me, I’d LOVE to know more about you & what brought you here! I will (hopefully) chat with you soon!

I can't wait to meet you!

story-rooted

every brand i build starts beneath the surface in your story, your values, the life being protected.

genuine connection

my goal is to connect with every client as i would with a friend. i want to be a studio you can trust.

life / family-first

your business exists to support your life, not consume it. every decision i make, in how i work and in what i build for you, honors that.

most of the women I work with don’t follow the conventional path.

they’ve built businesses and lives that might not look like what society expects and that’s exactly why they need a brand that feels aligned, authentic, and unapologetically theirs.

here, we don’t chase trends, metrics, or the definition of “success” dictated by someone else. instead, we honor your story, your values, and the work you’re building in a way that supports you, not what anyone else thinks you should be.
